Crystals are efficient absorbers and transmitters of energy. One of their functions is to cleanse and transmute negative energies. Crystals were created as the earth formed and they have continued to metamorphose as the planet itself has changed. Crystals are the earth’s DNA, a chemical imprint for evolution. Whatever form crystals take, their crystalline structure can absorb, conserve, focus and emit energy, especially on the electromagnetic waveband.
Crystals have been used for thousands of years to heal and bring balance to people and their environments. They work through resonance and vibration. Crystals are used in modern medical practices through light and sound (ultrasound). Crystals are excellent for dealing with many ailments ie. headaches, Lapis Lazuli will quickly draw of a migraine headache.
Some people study crystals and then choose a crystal to work with and some choose intuitively. It is a good idea to cleanse your crystal/s when you have purchased them either by running under water, moonlight, with palo Santo (holy wood), sage or a Selenite cleansing plate (selenite crystal cleanses other crystals) as does Carnelian. You can pass them through the light of a candle too or you can visualise the crystal surrounded by light which will purify and reenergise them..Citrine, Kyanite and Azeztulite are self-cleansing.
